Three people were killed in a road accident in front of Harbang Inani Resort on Cox's Bazar-Chittagong highway around 10:30 am on Wednesday. Their bodies were kept at Chakaria Upazila Health Complex

Three passengers of a battery-operated auto-rickshaw were killed in the collision of a covered van in Chakaria upazila of Cox's Bazar. Four more people were injured in the attack.

The incident occurred at around 10:30 am on Wednesday at the Cox's Bazar-Chittagong highway in front of Harbang Inani Resort.

Chakaria Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Bakhtiar Uddin told NTV online that the covered van was going from Chittagong to Cox's Bazar. And the autorickshaw was coming from the opposite side. On the way there were confrontations between two planets. In this, casualties occur.

The dead bodies of the dead people were recovered in the Chakaria Upazila Health Complex with the help of fire service and civil defense, highway police and locals. The injured were being treated.

Earlier, on Wednesday, seven people were killed and five others injured in a clash between the passengers and buses of Harbang Barietoli area.
